About

Alyssa Bloom is someone who never wants to take life too seriously. Her love for acting began at her high school, where she was taught by Dan Schmidt. While learning about acting, she fell in love with comedic theatre and film and found her niche. After high school, Alyssa went to Savannah, Georgia where she attended the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and received her BFA in Performing Arts in the spring of 2024! Along her acting journey, she discovered she has a love for not only acting but for casting as well! Under the instruction of Mikie Heilbrun, Alyssa learned the ins and outs of the business of casting, which greatly helped her understanding of acting.

Recently, Alyssa played Julie in How to Make a Housewife Go Insane, Mia Nocero’s senior thesis film. She also played Marnie in The Lighthouse a play written and directed by Kat Standen. Alyssa was also involved in The Girl From Plainville, now streaming on Hulu.

When she’s not acting, chances are she’s listening to music from the 70s or watching bad television with her friends… did anyone see the new Selling Sunset season yet? She loves long walks on the beach and a good cup of coffee. If you’re ever in Savannah, Georgia, Alyssa would strongly recommend a cup of joe from Franklins. She always loves making those around her laugh and is an avid fan of any card game. Her Myers Briggs is an ENFJ, for anyone wondering.

Whether Alyssa is performing or not, she puts her all into everything she does. She is also an avid reader and writer who believes that at the heart of every story is the undeniable human spirit that lives inside of all of us.
